Dr. Takeda LeGrand is an Education and Curriculum Development Specialist, who has worked with the Little Flower brand since 2015. She has over sixteen years of experience in education at the classroom, building, district, and State levels.
She holds a Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Gardner-Webb University, an Executive Juris Doctorate in School Law from Concord Law School at Purdue University Global, a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Education degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Dr. LeGrand has numerous licenses and certifications (Master-Level Teacher, Administrator-Executive Leadership, Doctorate-Curriculum Instructional Specialist, Administrator-Career and Technical Education/Workforce Development, Certified Family and Consumer Sciences Professional and Project Management).
A published Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment professional, Dr. LeGrand resides in Wingate, North Carolina, with her husband, two children, and bird.
Currently, she serves as the Superintendent for Scotland County Public Schools and as an Adjunct Professor of Education for two universities. Dr. LeGrand was formerly the Chief Operating Officer at Diversified Comprehensive Solutions (DCS), LLC. , an education development focused company that she co-founded.
