A Certified Mediator, much of his practice focuses on assisting parties in resolving their disputes through mediation and arbitration. He is the President of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Eastern North Carolina Chapter, 2020.
For many years Attorney Bell zealously represented seriously injured clients in the courts of North Carolina, having been selected by his peers for inclusion in “Best Lawyers in America” from 2006 – present.
Attorney Bell maintains an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale Hubbell. He has served on the Board of Governors of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, the Board of Directors for the NC Justice Center, and as President of the N.C. Association of Black Lawyers. He is a frequent lecturer for the American Association for Justice where he speaks nationally, the N.C. Advocates for Justice, the North Carolina Bar Association, and the North Carolina Association of Black Lawyers.
Attorney Bell is also a member of The Flood Group, which serves as a vehicle for bringing together diverse talents and forces within the community to foster the achievement of a quality education for all children. The Flood Group’s goals are to:
A native of Wadesboro, NC, Attorney Bell attended Anson County Public Schools where he graduated with honors. He holds Bachelor of Arts, Master of Business Administration, and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Moody Theological Seminary.
Also known as Pastor Bell, he has served as the senior pastor of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Wendell, NC since 2006.
